I am replacing my carpet in a 21' Bayliner, Cutty Cabin, and was wondering where to purchase some quality marine carpet for my boat in the Port Orchard area. I did some work on my Trophy and went to West Marine to buy replacement carpet. They didn't have it and told me to go buy the top quality indoor/outdoor carpet at Home Depot and said it was the same thing. It was about 20 % of the cost of marine carpet. It looked like the same carpet that came out of it.

Home Depot has some pretty good in-out carpet. I bought some for my boat,and it's been some good stuff. It's 6' wide and has a full rubberized backing,so it won't fray or come apart. I used the same stuff to re-carpet the bunks on the trailer. The prices ranged from around a dollar per foot for the grass crap,up to 4 dollars per foot for the stuff I bought.

Thanks fo all the tips. I think that I am going to check out the stuff at Home Depot and try to get the boat in this weekend. If so I will be out in Yukon Harbor with UMRULES, weather permitting. I need to test out my new downriggers!
