Pt no Pt has been good since it opened on Sat. My brother got one about 12lbs on the 1st,and he got two on Mon. keeping one about 8lbs. He saw 10 fish caught on Sat. with about that many boats out.

DJ,
Where in the islands are they doing well? Also wondered if you knew of any good spots in the area between Shaw, Orcas, Speiden and Friday Harbor. We are staying on Crane and have found good bottomfishing (duh!) but salmon has been poor. Thanks in advance for any info you have.

Wow, I guess there must have been an early bite at PNP because we fished an hour before low slack and an hour after and didn't touch a fish. We didn't see any nets out and talked to about half a dozen boats incl. the charter boat with a grand total of 1 fish caught. Pretty darn dead for PNP if you ask me.

Looked at the F&W fish counts for the San Juans and it looked real good up there. Seems the further north you go, the bigger the fish.
Fished PNP on Sunday and didn't see a whole lot happening. Fished hard and only scraped up one keeper. Boats were really spread out later in the morning. Been hearing decent reports around Possession so may hit that this weekend...unless the rivers hold up.
