Took the day off from work today for my B-day. Decided to fish Elliott Bay with a friend of mine who has days off in the middle of the week.

We launched at Armeni. Very foggy this morning and the water was not very clear, just a foot or two of visibility. To make a long story short , we fished all day with out a single bite. frown Today was the first time that my boat got skunked in E. Bay. I was in disbelief. cry

Bummer. I hate taking time off and getting skunked.

I can see the water from my office and its been chocolate brown all week. Was it any better today? Wonder if thats putting the fish off the bite or if they've migrated to other areas. What parts of the bay did you fish?

We fished from the Duwamish Head to Saltys to the stadium. Then ran over to pier 70 and fished from there to Magnolia. Lots of bait balls around the launch and Saltys but no blackmouth.

We're going to give it ago again this Saturday. We launch from Ameni and usually head over to Magnolia Bluff, and fish on around the point to Shilshole. If you see us, give a shout! We'll be the ones in a grey/blue 19' Bayliner runabout with one or two Cannon manual riggers, me, my friend Trent, and my kid with tons' o' ants in his pants!

Say hi!

Hope to see ya out there fishslayer. Hopefully It'll be as good as Sunday. Couldn't believe all the shakers we hit.

We fished Magnolia on the outgoing tide. We dragged the bottom in 140-150' of water.

Add ten to your age estimates. frown
