Those "mounds" may be the barges. The bottom contours are calculated from a grid of depth soundings and interpolated - thus showing a rounded mound rather than the sharp contours of a barge. I also found this description:

"The barges sit upright on the bottom. Each is about 200 feet long and 50 feet wide. The top of the barges (the cargo bed) is about 15 feet above the sea floor. They sit parallel to each other and about 50 feet apart. The shallower barge is in 75 feet of water and the deeper at 85 feet. Their sterns point to the north.
These barges lie a quarter-mile offshore north of Four Mile Rock in about 75 to 85 feet of water. They are on a line from the Kingdome and the Veterans' Hospital on Beacon Hill (the southern-most tall structure on the hill), which intersects a line to the blue water tower on Magnolia Hill. You will be in front of a brown house on shore with a white house to the left of it."

This description seems to fit Erndog's find.

No Lat/Lon but a sighting (replace Seabird stadium for the Kingdome. I may check these out myself in the next couple of weeks.

LF, CD, JD,

Thx for info guys. CD lookn at the map you provided, good job, its more in an angle heading north west in to 90 ft of water. As LF was mentioning I'm know I hit at least one of them. If you're looking at shore there is a white house, very square like, that it looks like 3 stories high. Also next to it there is a large tarp / plastic covering the ground. Just head straight out from there. You can't miss this house.
I'm thinking buddy and I are going to hit this when Ling Cod opens. I'm sure theres some biggies hello in there.

Good info guys, Fish On,

ErnDog

Don't talk to much about certain bottom fishing spots. Need to keep them under your hats. Otherwise, our fellow fisherman from other countries will rape the spot. sleep

Indeed, with zipperlip info like this, I may be tempted to turn the ol' Bayline into a floating Japanese cod processing plant and sell it right there to the Pike's Place Market!

Seriously, I'll have to look those up, I am interested to see what they will look like on the 3D Humminbird.

You know, son of a gun, I think we lost a rig on those two now that you mention the white house! We got snagged on something making a turn just about there and it would not come off. Since Trent just upgraded his reels with braided line, the leader snapped off saving the flasher, thank goodness. I was wondering what was down there, since we have drug the bottom all over the place and never hit anything until that spot, and there was no getting it loose no matter how we circled or what direction we pulled on it.

Damn barges........

Steve, your're completely right about that. We circled every which way and no give. I'm lucky I didn't loose my DR cable. It did fray one of my DR clips. Plus the DR balls had scuffs and rust fragments all over them.
