Floated The N.Santiam yesterday.Caught 2 on jigs.The first was an 8lb native hen.The second the bobber went down and right back up.I thought I missed but when I tightened the line all heck broke loose.After a lengthy battle and chasing him down river twice.I was able to net him.After measuring and reviving him it felt good to see him swim off.He measured 40"x22".which calculates to 24.9lbs.
Steelhead fever...catch it.
