After Disco Bay got to get my confidence back UM, heard you were thinking about hitting the opener at Green Point, did you, and how was it My meeting up in that area gets over early tomorrow, might hit it in the afternoon if it looks like the weather will hold off and I get a good report - don't want any more days like the last 3 I had

Hey Dennis, thanks for stopping by, glad I got to meet you too and sorry I didn't come on by on Sunday but I was pretty wiped out after all that getting skunked. Heard that was the only bite the winner had all weekend. I fished over there too Sunday afternoon, and hit Cape George again Monday morning, a little bait but no bites. I know I had the right stuff - usually kill 'em, but there's gotta be some around for that to happen. Oh well, at least the weather was nice for 2 of the 3 days, 'bout the best you can hope for this time of year. Hope the steelhead start treating you better, and keep in touch, B.

Spawnout, Hit Green at first light Saturday and fished 'til1pm with Rick68 and had two 20"shakers to show for it. Didn't mark one bait ball the entire morning. I must admit that I expected better, will be back out to manchester next weekend. Just got the new downriggers on Rick's boat so need to take her on a test run.

UM,
No Bait? Wow! Must have been out off the "trench." What did you guys troll around?
Looks like we'll need to hook up between the 4th and 8th next month.
Downriggin'

Hey DR, We started of the point trolling from 120-200 feet, moved to the channel between green and Fox Island and the last hour we did a troll around the other side of Green Pt. heading down towards that little island, didn't mark one bait ball the entire day. we ran everything at 'em too. B-2's, hootchies, Coyote's, Sonic Edge, Coho Killers, Bucktails, and even Herring Hoods, all to no avail. It was good to find that launch though, the directions were perfect. Nice little launch, well protected and short little run to the point.
Will probably hit Manchester this weekend with Rick68 in his boat. He wants to do a test run with his new 'riggers and his boat is too big to launch at Home. See ya in a couple weeks! First Sake on me!
