Just an FYI. Apparently, there is a fly fishing show being put on by Fly Fishing Show this weekend. This is the first show for this outfit in the Pacific northwest. The show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Maydenbauer Center, in Bellevue.

The website describing the show is at www.flyfishingshow.com. The schedule of events, tying demonstrations and classes looks interesting. Haven't seen a show of this kind, with such specific direction, around here before.

There hasn't been much advertising that I have seen.

This show is A MUST SEE!!!....not just because of the speakers and presenters and the various booths that will be there but because I will be there as well...

Hmmmm...just how many arrognant Bellevue flyfisherman do you know????...I would rather spend my time with some arrogant Bellevue flyfishermen then in a large room listening to duck calls, getting the latest jerky recipes and learning how to flip pork and jigs for bass...hence the reason I do not like to attend backwoods Puyallup shows.

And...you are just perputating this sterotype...maybe if you did not approach flyfishermen with that attitude, they might look beyond the fact that you are just a masterbaiter!

Don't take it personal Spark, I've just had a couple encounters on the Sky where these (fly-fishing) guys that look like there right out of an L.L.Bean catologue (high dollar clothes, waders, rod/reel, and Land Rover in the parking lot) walk by looking down their arrogant noses at someone drift fishing. Besides, what are you worried about? your not from Bellevue.
