It was there in December but is gone now. Did we have a particularly nasty storm I missed, or did someone just take it down Has been a reference point for me for so long (grew up on Rosedale Bay) that I kind of felt lost without it today

Oh yeah, went out this afternoon and lost one tired little shaker, did see one bait ball in the trench during the height of the flood but not much else, and didn't have any other bites. UM is right, pretty dead

It was there in January. I think the Navy Ranging Facility may be be closing (?) All the Navigation Aids in the immediate area are privately maintained through the Navy and only lit when "ranging" is being conducted. To be honest, I can not recall the last time the light on Green was lit... maybe 15 years (??)

It is listed in Notice to Mariners and List of Lights as "extinguished." Might be setting a new one in place (??). I'll keep an eye out in my publications.

Sorry to hear about Green Pt. This is usually one of the better months... Maybe the bait is pushed way up pass Cutts Is. in the trench there or up off Allen Pt. Baffling the there is no bait...

Do you have a GPS? I need a scout to hit two pieces of water. Was doing some chart research looking for different underwater structure and discovered a nice pinnacle off (insert zipperlip) and a deep water ledge off (insert zipperlip). First one looks to be about a half mile troll right dab in the middle of bay... and the second is about a 1 1/2 mile troll. Let me know and I'll shoot you the Lat/Longs for waypoints. I am itching to give them a go...

Thanks for letting me kmow that I am not loosing my mind! Rick and I talked about that Saturday morning, that the marker was missing. I had almost talked myself into believing that I was thinking of a marker being someplace else and not at Gr Pt. Sorry to hear that you had the same luck as us out there. Rick and I will be hitting Machester this weekend. Haven't hit Yukon Harbor in a ew weeks so am kinda interested to see if it is stil producing. After this weekend it's 2 weeks in Japan then SPRINGER TIME!! Will start hitting the Big C when we get back from the Land of The Rising Sun so this will be my last shot at the Sound for a couple months!
