All I can say is, Gas Prices Suck.
I have a 460 engine in my truck and it gets pretty good gas mileage but not that good and each time I fill up it cost me $40 or more.
I guess I won't be doing a lot traveling this summer.

Regular gas is right around $1.85-1.89 in Auburn. Sure hurts filling the boat and tow vehicle

At Chevron in Tacoma and Lakewood areas it ranges from $1.61-$1.68

I have seen premium at $2.09 yesterday at a shell in kent. And $2.05 in Des Moines.And Regular between $1.87 - $1.89
Filled my pick-up and two 5 gal gas cans yesterday it cost $64.00

I've been contemplating storing my boat on a storage lot in Kalama or Woodland for the upcoming springer season. That way I won't burn so much gas pulling it all the way down there from Tacoma every weekend. But I still don't know if it would really make much of a difference.

Go harley, I also thought about doing the same thing. If you don't mind sharing what you find for location and prices that would be great.

my mother works at an oil company and she told me that gas is going to get up to atleast $2.00 before it starts to go down. It's currently about a $1.75 in Lacey.

Blame it on Venezuela not the war. That's where our oil is coming from. I've parked the stroker and have been driving the ol lady's car lately. Hate being so low to the ground. I feel like a wannabe. Adams wants $1.97 in Elbe, but he's always high.

Well boys, not much better here in Utah. Paying 1.66 for regular north of Salt Lake and saw it in Park City for 1.69 on the weekend. Was going to drive home for a long weekend next month and fish the SW corner rivers, but looks like I'll have to save gas and head up to the Salmon and fish last years fish.
It'll be like the power prices....fast to go up slow to go down (or not at all...we'll get fu**ed again).

buy a powerstroke, just filled up in kent for $1.56 a gallon 38 gallons 750 miles sure beats the wifes car. When will they put a stroker in boats.

Yesterday I went to a Shell station and filled up the truck . The total was $55 then I went inside to buy a sub sandwich and a Coke. When I went to pay for the gas, sandwich & soda she gave me the sandwich and drink for free no charge! She told me that I had payed enough for the gas . I got outside and chuckled it was great . Then pulled out into traffic and got a ticket for no seatbelt a high to a low in about 2 mins.

One of the things that bothers me nost about the gas prices rising is that there is no other reason but fear. We are not at war...yet. Even if we were, we only get 5% of our oil from Iraq. I think that we could survive without it. The oil strike in Venezuela isn't affecting us either. We are letting fear drive up prices.

Better fill that tank all the way before coming out this way KF ... one place in town to get diesel and it's over $2 a gallon right now.

Regular can still be had for $1.77 ... for the first time in history, we're on par with the resty of the state for gas
