I have never drifted the section of the river with the diversion dam on it. How do you get around it, are there signs telling you that it is coming or does it just sneak up on you? Thanks

There's plenty of warning.....there's a cable overhead telling you it's coming up. Stay to the left (facing downstream). I get out and tie the anchor rope off to the anchor bracket and drop it over the wall (it's a few feet).

It's not a big deal....just make sure the stuff in the boat is secured.
