Just because you’re not going over to the sandbox does not mean you can’t be a part of the effort. The Armed Services Blood Bank Center (ASBBC) needs your help! Lend an arm and donate blood to support our troops. One of the ASBBC’s missions is to ship blood out to the theaters where it may be needed to save a life. The next blood drive will be held on 25 March 2003 at the Federal Building, 4735 E. Marginal Way in Seattle. There are other blood drives scheduled on military installations in the Puget Sound area. There are restrictions to get on the bases, DoD civilian, active duty military and dependants, and retired military. If you do not meet these criteria, one who has access to the base can sponsor you to get you on base to donate. For information on where to go to donate and scheduled dates, contact Mr. Marty Ricker at martin.ricker@nw.amedd.army.mil or call 253-968-1903. So, roll up your sleeves and support our troops! hell i just gave blood yesterday at the collage in bellevue between classes and i can't give for three weeks or so. I always give blood when I can. i go for the free cookies

Thanks for the post! If by chance the rivers are out and we head that way, we'll stop by and chip in ... then we'll have to go the Claimjumper and eat LOTS to replenish  Let's hope that very little of it will be needed for our fellas (gals too!).

For those of you that want to really show that you can be totally against this impending war but at the same time be totally committed to supporting the soldiers that will carry out those orders...
...what better way than to give your own blood? I gave last Thursday...
