We go every year with Sea Breze Charters out of Ilwaco. It's a good place to go from in my opinion. But i dont know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for.

I have heard the sturgeon fishing in the lower Columbia has really deterorated, this year, because of the commercial netting.

I've heard a lot of good things about him.I think he concentrates on the Bonneville area quite a bit.Good action for gators, keepers and shad.
I take that back. You wont be able to keep anything up there after I think the 23 of this month.Maybe the end of the month.
You ought to give him a call and seee what he has going on though.

I dont know about shad for the Sea Breeze. we just did Sturgeon. You would have to check out their website. You stay on the water for 8 hours or until early-limit, we got limit after about 3 hours (i think it was like 2 fish per person or somthing like that) but they let us keep fishing doing catch and release. Chances are that unless you can get a group big enough and reserve a boat to yourself, you will be on with people you dont know.

Pretty hard to beat Clancy's Guide Service. The Ironman specials sound like a full meal deal. Check it out http://www.clancysfishing.com/index.htm He's always been straight with "Can we expect to catch fish or will we just be going for a boat ride?" because he won't take you just a boat ride. Good luck

Hey you guys that mentioned Jon Ball.I grew up with him when he lived here.We used to hunt together when we were supposed to be in school.Hadnt seen or heard diddly about him in years other than he was guiding.I couldnt believe it when you mentioned his name.
I Checked out his website and dropped him an email. He was a standup guy then.Cant imagine him being any different now. Thanks for inadvertantly putting me in touch with him again beer
