Found one for $99.00 is it a good deal?? I always wanted an G.Loomis IMX 1084c, went with the IMX 1025c and never looked back. I know there not at the IMX level, but are the Allstar rods rated at near the GL-3 or on down to GL-2 status........

I've got an AllStar 1143c and a 1086c. I'd say $99 is a pretty good price for one. I'd rate them around GL2 quality overall, which is still a good thing because most GL2's are in the $150 - $180 range. Plus, even though GL2 is the bottom of the Loomis line, they're still better than most manufacturers top models.

4s, I can get the 1143c for the same $$. It looks to be a great side-drifting salmon or really big steelie rod. Could do bobber & jigs with it too. Maybe I'll get 2...........
