Just in the last 30 minutes has the "big one" started up out this way. A little wind kicking up right now, the rain went from a drizzle a little while ago to pounding some on the window already and the drops are getting big!!!

I took the treck out to the SolDuc this morn....rain had let up.....river was up some, but beautiful color. Hopped out of the truck, threw on the boots, jacket, and vest, grabbed the rod......and down it come! Got me butt soaked in about 45 min, was having a wee bit of problem feeling anything due to the bow in my line due to the wind. I was back inside the truck before the cab even cooled down.

Hey Bob did your power go out? News says power is out for over 3000 out your way and wont get it back until at least tommorrow. If we don't hear from you soon we'll send out a rescue party.

Power was out for about 18 hours, it's finally back on now ... we also lost phone service overnight sometime and it cam back on this morning as well.

Been a wild 24 hours out here!
