I thought Goat Island was in the Multnomah Channel.

There were a number of them listed. This seems to be the one your looking for.

I believe the Goat Is. you refer to is on the big C about 5 or 6 mi downriver (north) of St. Helens or 4 or 5 miles upriver (south) of the Port of Kalama. Its on the OR side and you can see it easily across the river from I-5 between Kalama and Woodland where the freeway drops down along the slough by Martin Is. Just look for the boats.
