Another board member responded to my question about the ramp and suggested I call Fish & Wildlife. I called, finally, and talked to Ray Crosswell, a good guy. Apparently the window of opportunity is in August and the plan is to rebuild the launch at that time. I'd suggest some calls to the Vancouver office as August approaches to remind them. Crosswell is, unfortunately retiring in a couple months. I think this is basically the same info I got from the other board member but think we should keep up a little pressure.

The phone number I have is 360-906-6704.
this number was for a Lee Van Tussenbrook, SW Regional Director, State Fish and Wildlife (out of Vanvouver WA).
However, like I said the person I spoke to was Ray Crosswell.

Thanks for waking me up here, I should have included this in the original post!

I have been working with both Lee and Ray for the last couple of years on this boat ramp project. Lee Van Tussenbrook has also assured me that he will follow up on this boat ramp project this year.

You are right, both Lee and Ray are great people to work with. It's to bad we don't have more good people that care about our fish and game like Lee and Ray do.

Now all we have to do is to make sure that Lee doesn't retire or leave his position before this task is completed. Without Lee, it will just fall between the wide cracks of the WDFW
