I didn't get time today to look at it myself, but a good friend said that he drove down to the Barrier Dam and saw one hatchery steelhead caught! He said there were about 8 or 9 plunkers fishing, and about four or five guys fishing at the ramp. He did say thst he saw one hatchery steelhead laying on the bank.

Sorry, but that's all have heard!

Although the catches aren't great, there were fish being caught on the Cowlitz today. Saw 1 taken today and 2 taken two days ago. I did manage to see 5 fish roll today though. Visibility is about 2 1/2 feet. All things considered, its still probably one of the best bets in the state.

Thanks for the update. Think I will head down tomorrow to my campsite and hopefully have some luck.
