No one seemed to care when we made all kinds of jokes about an Arkansas president or a Georgia peanut farmer, not even the ex-movie star from California. Why is this any different? Feeling sorry for him because he's being beaten up internationally?

Over the line? She said she was ashamed that the president was from Texas. There are incidents were free speech can go over the line... I am not seeing how this particular comment incites people to riot or otherwise causes harm to anyone.

There is a point at which we have to stand back and look at the excessive nationalism that seems to be brewing. I support our country, but many today are saying that to support the US you can't question policy or policymakers. I see that as extremely dangerous... acting like sheep is not a healthy habit.

It is not what you say but how you say it. There is still room for respect and something that we are neglecting to set examples for our young ones.
We see it all over...driving down the street, in public places, sports events headed by parents, and not just this current situation. Disrespect aims to hurt

When you lose track of how other people feel, then I'd say you have a problem.....I don't have anything against humor and I don't think there is a comparison betwen Leno and the chick.

I support George W. 100% !!! Ditsy Chickens I will play or spend a dollar on no more!! And if the local country stations continue to play them I will e-mail them my displeasure and let them know I will no longer listen to their stations. Ya know...... I wish I had enough time to write emails to country stations about the content of their play list. Geez, you know, 5 minutes after hearing a song, I can scarcely remember it being played.... Guess its just not important enough for me to think about.
