Just got back from fishing below Beacon Rock for sturgeon. We caught about fifty fish with two keepers. The largest was over 50 inches. I just don't like driving all the way down to the Columbia from Puyallup,WA when ever I feel like sturgeon. I know that the Chehalis and Snohomish Rivers have decent numbers of sturgeon in them. When and were is the best time to fish these rivers for sturgeon? Thankyou for reading?

For the Chehalis I fish the incoming tide. I tend to fish at night more then during the day. This is the only river open at night. If banking it, try Friends landing near Montesano or in Cosmopolis. Boating it try off the mouths of the sloughs and any the heads of deep pockets in the river. Let me know how you do since my bail fingers are getting itchy.

I'd like to know a little more about the snohomosh...I did not know there were any sturgeon there and I hate the drive to Long Beach just to fish...
