i'm not sure if there was some extraordinary alignment of the planets or something similar to that, but today for the first time in my life i saw more game wardens today along the river than people that were fishing....when i pulled in this morning to the trailhead to my semi-secret run, there were 2 trucks there already...damn i thought to myself, one of the rigs was a gamer, i chatted with him for 5 minutes or so, told him of the native carcasses that came floating down the river last week, he said he would let his guys know about it, and went on my way to my spot..hike in a couple miles only to find that my brother and his friend were there(which accounted for the other truck), we fished a couple hours there, a few cutties were caught, no steel, walked to another spot which we fished for a half hour or so, hiked back to our vehicles and caravanned to the highway....not a single vehicle, boat, or bankie anywhere else on the entire river when all of the sudden we pass not one, not two, not three, but four gamer trucks heading in the direction from which we just came, two of the trucks with two officers a piece...so what it boils down to was there was not one person fishing the river and 6-7 gamers patrolling it...i hope they were looking into the native carcasses i told them about but where does that leave the rest of the region?? just an interesting occurence that yall may be interested in....
