Dutchman,

Lewis and Cowlitz should be getting fish soon. I'm not aware of any South Sound springers though.

Just curious, how do you do flyfishing for springers? The only one I've ever caught flyfishing was by accident while fishing for trout on the Yakimammy many years ago. Seems like all the river springers I've caught and landed were in places and conditions that just don't lend themselves to flyfishing. The Kalama looked the most feasible to me but I never hooked one springer flyfishing in all the years I tried. Just too hard getting down to where they were and keeping it there in the spring flows. Hope you have better luck than me.

Hi Mooch
Like I said I am desperat for moveing water. I have never targeted these fish nor have I ever had an incidetal catch. I love A good challenge. I have been told by a reliable source there is a guide in Oregon that does real well,so,here I go.Forty foot 400 gr. shooting head and Cobra running line.If that doesn't work do you know where I can get a sea anchor cheap.Thank you for your input.I need all the help I can get
