Fished saturday with Bob at the wind river. We put two 14 pound cookie cutter springers in the boat. Had a couple other hit and runs. Had a great day fishing with a great guy. First time fishing the CR for springers. Nice fishery down their. Any you guys out their thinking of hiring a guide Rapid Robert is a good one. We fished long and hard in his newly painted and polished boat. You cant believe the lunch he provides and bbq's for you. Thanks Bob

I was looking at the regs for the CR, and I can't see where it says that the section of the river you guys fished is open. Can someone point me to where it says it's open? Maybe I need a specialist in reading the regs or something.

That RR knows how to deliver on fish and on lunch. He didn't make you wear a Cougar sweatshirt did he ?

BillyBob It's page 90 in the regulations - Wind River. The markers they refer to are out in the Columbia and go down to the island which is a mile or so downstream. That's a pretty good section of river that's covered but it really gets full of boats to say the least. One thing not to do is venture outside the float/markers in your boat!! Hope that helps.

Dan S you said it. I went with rapid robert a few weeks ago and had a great time that lunch really hit's the spot when you are a little cold. I'm heading down to the wind this weekend and was hoping to bump into him so I could say HI.
