I was thinking of getting a 1265 Rainshadow made for another float rod.

After fishing these for an extended period of time my arm almost falls off. I would like to get a counter balanced weight system on the end that is adjustable. Is this possible?

Oh ya and something a little nicer then a roll of quarters taped to the end Something kind of like the ones Laminglass has might be cool.

Are they a slip over the handle deal or a screw on type?

Bass Pro also has them. They are screw in with a variety of brass weights to balance the rod to your needs, with a rubber end cap (no comments on my terminology please-I know where some of you will go with that .) I just bought a set but have not tried them yet.

Gregs will put one on for you if you have him make it. He offered one for my 1264 and I decided to try it without the counterbalance first. He told me I could add it later.
