So i spelled Quilliute wrong...altzheimers is gr8...i meet new people every day...anyways...Last year did a Memorial day weekend at Mora Beach and got there on a Thursday to obtain prime real estate before the massive crowd got in...pulled into camp around 2 and launched the boat to scope out the action...To my amazement there were more Springers rolling than I have ever seen...My friend Mark and I were thinkin this was gonna be the best fishing weekend we have ever had..We were gonna slay em...anyways it was gettin a little late and we figured we should tie up the boat right below our camp site, set up camp, have a cocktail or 2 and get em at day break...just right after it got dark, while we were chillin at the campsite by the fire, we hear these 1 or 2 or 3 boats comin up the river and hear voices and see some flashlites...we're thinkin someone might be messin with out boat, but after checkin it out, the boat is fine...then we figure it out...INJUNS!!!! They raped the holy hull outta the river and there wasnt a fish to be seen for the rest of the week....question??? Anyone know what day they net the river?

those indians have certain days to fish, but the problem is, is that they call for a ceramonial. can't tell you much other than
"a native emergency holiday''. the have done the same with me. it seems like right when you are approaching "one" of the few bdrifts, you hear jets.

I was told 2.5 days right now. They supposed were using 8" mesh to try to avoid some downer steelies, they are supposedly back to 6" right now. I've heard lots of different reports of nets being in from Monday through Thursday, so I don't know for sure when they're in. I do know, that with this clear of water, the springers swim right around most nets (even drifted) in daylight hours, so most netting pressure is occuring overnight frown
