I was fishing on the Nooch when I here a "SQUEEEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLLL" from the alders behind me. Out runs a cottontail that jumps into the river and swims across to safety. NICE PIC!

Last year on my favorite river we saw a heard of elk cross through the tailout of the hole we were fishing...when we got to where they had scrabbled up the bank we found that they had left someone behind. It was pretty tired when I took this pic...after a good long rest it managed to get up and work its way down the bank, through and over a log jam and then into the woods. I hope mama was around...it was cougar country.

A deer at 12 miles out from shore, wow that is incredible Some of the better wild life I have seen was on the Yakima in the summer. The rubber hatch was in full swing, lots of inner tubers and bikini misssing girls, now that is wild life!!

I fish the Yak often in the summer, call it a "Yak Attack"! Have also witnessed many bakini missing girls dispersed among the rubber hatch. Last year I had a group float by when up sprung a fully disrobed hottie yelling "how's the fishing". I just smiled in obvious approval, and a big thumbs up. To which they all giggled and floated by, all smilling. Best hatch of the season!!!

the Coyote was looking at my Moose, lucky Moose was snoring on the boat bow and didnt even care. One thing that did happen was the Coyote put the bite off, nothing like animal scent in the water to shut down a good springer hole. Hope Coho got the beep beep this weekend? Moose=FishDog Me=FishDoctor
