"Fishermen used to go out and catch these phenomenally big fish," said Ransom Myers, a fisheries biologist at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. "But they cannot find them anymore. There're not there. We ate them."

Isn't it amasing that after ten years of study the "experts"in the comercial fishing industry say that the data isn't conclusive and must be studied further. At the current rate of decline by the time they are done studing the problem there won't be any more comercial stocks left. Look what happened to the cod fishery on the East coast just a short time ago. Then they switched to fishing for the bait fish that the cod used to live on. We will continue to eat further and further down the food chain until we are eating "SOILENT GREEN". YUM!!

Yeah and the price of herring crashed because of a glut of fish on the market, now its cheap enough to grind for pig food, and the commercials have to catch even more to "make a living".... beathead
