Anyone know how to replace the bolts in the swivel matic bases. In a previous application mine were cut down and now I need to put long ones in them. Their must be a trick to taking these things apart.

Any Ideas.

You don't have to take them completely apart to bolt them on. First remove the mounting plate ( the one the 'rigger itself slides on to) then remove the plastic cover. This will expose an access hole. Just swivel the thing around until the access hole lines up with each mounting bolt, pull out the short one and put in a long one.

Probably if you look around in Google on the internet you can find the owners manual on-line, these things have been around forever and likely someone has posted it somewhere. The manual shows real clearly what to do.

Hope this helps beer

Thank you, I didn't realize the plate under the fixed mount came off. I did try prying it apart everywhere else though. Problem solved

FYI www.pennreels.com has exploded view schematics for almost all their products. They're down for remodeling right now. smile
