My brother is up visiting and he has never been on my boat and wanted to do some fishing. The only thing going on in the sound within reach is Lings, and crab in 8-2. I have never bottom fished in the sound, basically because would prefer to chase salmon, and I have the idea there is not enough bottom fish inthe sound to support the fishery. But anyway, thought I would drop some jigs around Possesion bar and Scatchet head, Double Bluff.

I also saw Halibut fihsing reports for Mutiny Bay and Fort Casey. I didn't think there was any slab fishing in the sound. Do people really catch Hali inthe sound?

Anyway, we want to spend a few hours droping jigs, any suggestions for the central to north sound area would be greatly appreciated so I can show my brother a good time.

What ever you fish for this weekend the tides are going to be excellent, small changes. Bottom fishing should be good.

Thanks for the tips. Glad to see the tides coming back to favorable, although I know a lot of you probably had a great time with clams and oysters this past weekend.
