A spokesman for PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals) came out publicly stating that they feel that those who raise chickens in hatcheries and kill the chickens for food are no different than the Nazis who exterminated 6 million Jews. Unblelieveable? Not really.

Extremist groups of all types are endlessly telling us what is acceptable behavior under their rules and seemingly will stop at nothing to get their way.

In the radio interview the PETA moron also included gays and midgets in his analogy. I posted this because it shows how far some of the radical animal rights (anti-fishing) groups have gone and will go to force their form of mind control on the rest of us. The world of HSUS, PETA and some of the save-the -salmon groups is one of socialist euphoria. Frankly I think most of these people are mentally disturbed. I am really getting sick of the "anti" crowd...so predictable it stinks.

I am sitting here reading my copy of the WT/WDFW Chinook Hatcheries Settlement Agreement after having had roasted chicken for dinner (hatchery stock)..I have my PET dog beside me...thinking about going out in the boat this weekend to enjoy the great outdoors. AAAAAA life is good.

It may be a move to radicalize the left side of the political spectrum, tieing demos in with such fringe groups.

They don't have to tie democrats to peta. peta is all democrats. I go to school with people like this every day. I have been told that fishing has no use and should be out lawed and none of these people thing gore lost. Its really sad that the collage employees some of these people. tom

PETA are not all Democrats. Left wing does not equal Democrat. Radical does not equal Democrat. These guys are advocating destruction of property, theft, and even murder. Do those sound like things Democrats endorse? ALF and their cronies are anarchists, plain and simple.

People tend to characterize Democrats as far left wing, when for the most part they're not. They range from moderate to somewhat liberal. If the scale of 'left to right' were 1 to 10, most of them would fall between 3 and 5. Most Republicans fall between 5 and 8. People at 9 and 10 are paranoid militia groups. People at 1 and 2 are anarchists. Both 1 and 2 and 9 and 10 want to remake society into their own image, and I'd say that fits pretty well with what PETA, HSUS, and the ALF want.

Saying radical animal rights organizations are all Democrats is like saying neo-Nazi skinheads are all Republicans.

I am a "Yellow Dog Democrat" (I would vote for a yellow dog before I would vote for a Republican). I believe in God,Capitalism,a strong military, the Bill of Rights(especially the 2nd one),I admit that I hugged a couple of trees, and I know that there are,at least, two sides to every story.

My wife’s parents were Jewish European refugees who met on the boat in 1939. Most of the rest of both families did not get out. The few who did survive, some with ugly tattoos on their forearms, are scattered from Buenos Aires to Hiafa. So she and I, understandably I think, take extreme umbrage to equating chickens to people and I am getting pissed. I've probably got one more good war left in me so if these freaks want to get physical I, for one, will be more than happy to oblige.

By the way; if chickens could eat us they would but they can’t so we eat them.
