I never thought that I'd get a reaction like that. BW, I thank you so much for replying to my question and offering "your" time to take another fisherman in a boat. I in no way meant to be selfish or rude. Please accept my apologies and I will learn from my mistake. Apparantely I've offended several members of this BB. Please don't look at me in the manner that you suggested when replying to my previous post. I made a huge mistake and feel incredibly bad.
Cowlitzfisherman, you are right. I certainly learned from my mistake.
Most of all, I'm terribly sorry BW...

For what it is worth, you have done the right thing! I think that your apology was well stated and sincere. thumbs

Thank you, I was hoping this was a missunderstanding. I have made other plans for this weekend but email me if you would like and we can work something out for later. beer

As you can see I deleted that post. The embarassment factor was getting a bit too high. However, let me explain my rationale:

Whenever someone goes fishing I assume that their primary objective is to "catch fish." Mine certainly is..... I've been fishing the Cowlitz quite frequently this spring and have noticed that the success rate has dramatically dropped off as of late. If you read the post to BW, I thanked him for the offer and simply gave him a report. I never once thought that he was simply offering to take me in his boat to accustom me to drift boat fishing. Hence, I felt that a report was necessary. If that truly was your intent BW you are a man of character and I respect that immensely. But remember, I also said that I'd love to go. I can see how that got twisted though. The person that all of you were speaking of when referring to me was not a true reflection of who I am. That is why I deleted that post. Pure embarrassement. Once again, please forgive me fellas.

Egg goober, I'll actually be at a wedding sunday. If I'm lucky I'll try to sneak out Monday afternoon (possibly the Kalama). Great to put a name to a face. Get a couple on the bank for me though.....
