Which river to fish for early summer runs?

When the local rivers open up again on the first, which river would be my best bet for summer runs? I know that the Reiter Ponds area on the Sky doesn't open until August and I've been told that the Green typically doesn't start picking up until early July and I've never had any luck on the Snoqualmie. Which river do you guys recommend?

Yes indeed go to the Sky ,on the way stop off at a local gravel pit and pick up a portable rock,You will need it to stand on when you get to the river.

When you stop to pick up a rock, make sure you do't take mine!! The sky on opening of summer runs is some of the best combat fishing around.

Try Nunya River, I hear its pretty good.
Seriously, one of the larger, more popular rivers that are open year-round might be a good bet since many anglers will be hitting the June 1st openers- less competition.

I'll probably also be on the Sky but you won't be able to find me or my rock as I will be a little higher on the river than most people. ![hello hello](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/hello.gif)

Just out of curiosity, up higher, will you be expecting to catch late winter run nates, summer run nates or summer run brats?
