Fish her hard today from I-5 to bluecreek without a fish to be had. Only seen one other fish but that don't mean there wasn't any caught. Threw eggs mostly, but did try bobber and jig and ran plugs through a few holes. Probably just one of those days. Oh well it was a good day to be on the water.

Don't feel too bad. Had the same results on my last two trips. Still trying to figure out that river, only been on it four times in a boat. I did catch a fair amount of cutthroats, up to 15", but not a great fight on a 1263.

I fished a few hours last weekend at the launch at Barrier Dam. I had my waders for my float tube for fishing Mayfield, caught many trout there. Also had my steelhead rod for my one chance at Tiger Muskie which I didn't see a scale of. But I didn't bring any river gear besides a couple spoons. So after about an hour of casting in the pool at the launch I latched into a springer, it raced down stream and broke the line. I think I need to replace the line, it is going into it's third season. Saw no steelies caught.
