I was thinking of sneaking away to the San Juans to go shrimping. Shrimp one day, sleep on the boat, and shrimp again the next day to get two days limits worth. This would make it worthwhile to go. I looked up in the new regs that say under possession limit, "One day limit in fresh form. Additional shellfish may be possessed in frozen or processed form." Then I go back to Definitions and under "Processed" reads "Fish or shellfish that have been subjected to heat(including kippering, smoking, canning, and boiling)."

Any ideas how to freeze them on your boat? Maybe keep dry ice in a cooler and package the shrimp in water in contaners? Do these 12 volt heater/coolers get cold enough to freeze them? beathead
