Fished out of Tofino last thursday and friday with some buddies. We chartered 2 boats out of Weigh West resorts for six guys. First day we landed 6 kings and one halibut, next day we hit 7 kings and 1 halibut. the fishing was never really hot but there were fish. The kings were mostly in the upper teens to low twenties, the halibut in the mid teens. the weather was good with a little wind on the second day. this is our second year with the guys at weigh west and they do a great job getting you into fish and making sure you have a good time. We already started planning our trip for next year.

Sounds great, I'm going to Ucluelet the middle of June- looking forward to jigging kings and halibut.

Baddawg, how far out on the bank were you going? Are the fish at eight mile bank and further out? Just curious as I'm going up sometime soon and would love it if the fish are in closer. How were the seas? Sounds like they were good.

We were fishing Portland Point, about 7 miles out, but there was a lot of discussion of heading out further ( about 14 miles) to try and scare up a few more fish. The seas were 3 to 6 feet with some wind waves, not to bad at all. Good luck
