A friend and I will be up there on the 4th-6th
will there be any Kings around for a guy to bank fish??Or if you have a opening let me
know!!What do I need for gear to get them from the bank.Its just a month away and I just can't take it! We will also be going out to Homer then to Afognak Island for 3day of halibut and lings and salmon!!

FT ... Bank king fishing will pretty much be over as most of the kings that stack at the mouth of Crooked Creek will be gone by then (I started to see some enter the creek today for the first time). There will be some reds to flip for though on the bank end of things.

We're kinda between runs then, but some years the fishing stays pretty good throughout (it did last year, and may this year with the fin-clip requirment in June meaning many kings won't be harvested early). I got some room available through the 7th, I'll have Corey give you a shout in regards to your email smile

Thanks for the tips!!I love flopping for the Reds. We will be staying close to the Kasilof at
Mysytic Alaska adventures so its just a hop a
skip and a jump to the river!!
