I've got a Lowrance LMS 240 depthfinder/GPS. I was up at Outdoor Emporium the other day and looked at the Navionics charts on the MMC chips---Way Cool! I like the data but I don't like the fact that I have to buy two of them to just to cover this state alone and they are $200 bucks a pop. Does anybody know of a cheaper way of getting chart/tide data on an MMC chip that would be compatible with the Lowrance operating system? I have the means to burn data on a chip, I just don't know what is compatible with Lowrance and where to get it.

I saw lowrance chips on the Cabelas website in the Bargain Cave, showed 2 required for Wa state, had the western WA chips available for $9.99, down from $200, might want to check and see if it is one for your unit.

Thanks anyway Haifish.......I just checked it out and unfortunately those chips don't fit my unit.....I'm sure sorry they don't.......that was way cheap!
