Considering there was a huge tide swing today fishing was pretty good.

I released six shaker blackmouth, kept three dungees, released a bunch of flounder, and released this colorful rockfish. I can't believe he went after a Coyote spoon.

I have caught more rockfish this year in the south sound than in the past 5 years combined. Although none of them had much size to them, it is good to see them start to come back since the trawlers wiped them out in '87-'88. I don't target them, and all of my catches have been incidental whether trolling or drifting.

Easy,
You are just a fishing machine!!! I spent my fathers day on my motorcycle, drove over the narrows and I thought I saw ya!!! Went to check on some of my zipper's on the canal.
Relaxing time, but I'll be fishing next weekend!
Nice rockfish,
Winterun. thumbs
