Anybody fish Area 11 this weekend that has a report to post? I did some bottom fishing out at Westport on Saturday (Limit of black Rockfish and a limit of Ling's) and fished Southworth Sunday morning from first light 'til noon. Only shakers to show for the Southworth trip on Sunnday. Did see a couple nice fish caught but all in all it seemed pretty slow. On a more encouraging note, we marked a lot of bait after the tide change and more often than not we marked fish around the bait balls. Just couldn't get the buggers to hit. Most of the fish were suspended 100 - 60 feet in 120 - 150 feet of water. Hope for better luck when I go out there on Thursday.

Well at least I wasn't the only one Chinook-less in Area 11. I would think things should strart picking up soon. At least I hope they will.

On Saturday morning, a friend and I fished Dolphin point. Nothing. We moved over to the west side of Vashon and hooked and lost a nice one. That was the only fish all day.

Looking at todays fish and fisherman report in the Seattle Times it looks like catching was pretty slow all over. For Redondo, on Saturday, only one fish was reported. The king was 15#'s however.

I think only like 20 fisherman / 10 boats. Not to many people wetting a line right now.

UM Rule and I are going to hit 11 this Thurs. Hopefully it will be fish on! Does anyone know anybody who might be selling a 9.9 kicker? 2 or 4 stroke, it doesn't matter, but would prefer a 4.
