We fished Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Friday was great for the butt's,Saturday we went 7 miles out and decided to turn around.
Still got a 25lb chicken in 130' of water off the carolyn island area, one ling and our 30 bass.
Sunday started off slow but we ended up with three chinook @ 25lb , 20lb,10lb and a 9lb coho.Nice to meet ya FishNg1.By the way I was on the next dock over during your picture
taking of the large butt's.Friday we got a 56lb,48lb,45lb butt's.Kinda wish we would have stuck it out on Saturday but oh well had fun any way's.Good luck,

Those were some nice fish too, it's nice to see some size in the halibut up there. Kinda makes it worht it, you know how "relaxing" it is catching those critters in 450 feet of water.

I don't know if that was your boat or not, but it looked like a great setup for fishing. I suppose I will see you up there again or maybe at Westport, I have been getting a few good reports from Westport the last couple of days.

Don't know if I am going to hit it on Sunday or not, but if I do I will give "Strikezone" a holler on 68.

Nice to meet you, take it easy and great fishing to you.

Ng

Try 589 feet of water!!!!.That boat was my fishin buddies.It's a 23' Chris Craft seahawk with a 225 yami four stroke.I've got a 18.5
Champion. As you can see I'd rather be in it then mine.I won't be down to west port until mid July.I've got some left over honey dues to wrap up for the year to clear the way for some serious fishin from then till after steelhead this winter.Good luck, Hope to see ya out there some time in the near future.Good luck,

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

No big, Steve. I have an airshow to work the next weekend, but I should have some free weekends after the 2nd weekend in July.....we'll just hook up then.

Good luck in Canada, have fun. thumbs

Thanks Strike zone! Not a whole lot to report from westport for last sunday. Late start and bad weather just didn't let it happen. Doesn't seem to be as hot as last year for big fish??
