With the recent topic about the Cowlitz fishery in mind, I hope someone out there could answer these questions for me.

1)How many sportsfisherman are there in our state that purchase a liscense and punchcard?

2)With that amount of money going toward our fisheries how much of that actually goes to Mr Koenings and his crew, and what is left for the main reason we buy a liscense?

I too caught my first fish on the Cowlitz, along with many others so I would love to see it back to her good ol days (besides last year summerrun fishery)

Some of us may think the cowlitz is ruined, I do, but the flip side of that coin is without her i guarantee there will be no more zipperlips

And trust me all you non-believers there are still a few out there where I can go and say to myself "It is times like this why I purchase my liscense every year even knowing I will never be checked here. I like to know my money is spent to preserve and not DESTROY!!!!!!!
