Ive never floated the yakima river before. My friends and family want me to plan a float tubing trip on it. Would any of you guys happened to know the best place we can put in and take out in a secluded camping spot? HELP!!! They all want to camp and make a weekend trip of it. I'm lost as to where to start looking for a spot to launch in our tubes and be able to pull out in a spot to camp 10 to 25 people? Any help would be appriciated guys.

Float tubes are a dangerous idea on moving water. You might get different advice, but I would not do it.

Are you talking about fishing float tubes? If you are please don't do it. The flows of the Yak are very high right now and many snags have been moved around the river . You would be better off renting 3-4 big rafts . The only campground I know of that could handle a large group is the KOA in Eburg.. Right on the river with a couple of decent holes and banks to hit downriver to Irene or further to Ringer.
