Normally I don't report skunkings but there seems to be a lack of EB reports so here's mine:

Arrived at ramp at 4:30 am. Line was no problem, made it into the water in less than 10 minutes. A little chilly but not too bad. Fishfinder crashed which was a bummer but we fished anyway. Picked up one shaker and a bunch of doggies, flounder, & other misc riff-raff. Saw one nice fish landed. Heard some hoots & hollers. Saw several nice fish in coolers onshore. Fish checker was reporting about 25 fish for 75 boats. Seemed like there were well-over a hundred out there at times. At 4:30 there were already loads of boats out. I think we would have done better with a functioning fish-finder. Not a bad day on the water although I wish we had at least one nice fish tp show for it. Back at the ram around 2:00.

Anyone else come back with fish? Thinking of hitting Pt. D tomorrow.

Pretty quite in E. Bay for me on Saturday.

Fished Redondo on Sunday. Caught a silver, cutthroat, and several small blackmouth.

Fished for about an hour this evening and got two shakers on a green Grand Slam. Talked to the checker at about 9:30PM and he had checked 50 boats with only 1 fish.

Fished from 4:30 to 12:00. Caught one blackmouth about 6 lbs. The fish checker told us it was a white king. It was not fin clipped. The bait house nearby had fresh herring at $5.00/doz (!) Poor quality though.

Well hit the water early on Sunday and 1 shaker for me and 3 shakers for my buddy, all measured right under 22". Pulled out from the water and saw a boat with two fish. All our hits were 125 and deeper. We saw boats out there hookn in to fish but wasn't close enough to see any size to them. I was sure confused confused Sunday morning thinking these fish would be on top in the morning. Most of the fish we were registering were at 115 and deeper. The guys we saw at the launch with fish said they hooked them in 180 feet eek . Lookn to give it a try after work on Friday. May see how deep I can take my riggers laugh . Hopefully it'll be as good as the opener.

This was the first try at Elliot Bay King fishing on Sunday Morning. I got there 4:30a.m. Already quite many people there. I got two shakers and dog fishes and couple flounders. Someone please help me how to fish here! I used herring with green flasher. at 50 feet deep. What is the secret there? Please help me out. I appreciate any suggestion.
Thank you.

You are doing the right thing Jyun. Don't worry, when the fish are there you will be catching them. If you get tired of using herring a white/glow hoochie behind a Hot Spot also works very well.

Man.....I finally figured this damn computer out!

anyways, 1 BM, 5lbs, 1 king 18lbs Friday.
Sat, Sun, Skunkfish a few small bites though.
Fish counter called some people BS and told me Friday was 1 fish to every 4 boats. So I think it's still a little early. I'll be out there anyways.
