It will be very interesting to see who the GOP comes up with this time. Hopefully, they will choose someone with more of a mainstream appeal so we actually have a race.

who ever wins more than likely will come from the king county area because they can out vote the rest of the state

Eddie..you will be pleased to know that Judy NiCASTRO is planning to enter the Democratic primary. Not sure who out there could be worse for fishing than Gary but I'm sure the Demos will come up with someone. I have no clue who the Republican candidate would be but the King County candidates will be big spenders I'm sure. Ron Simms would be GREAT!!! Tax everything and build homes for the homeless......What a country!

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Sure AM......that way grandpa could bag on Locke, I'll bag on Slade Gorton and we can both admit that neither party has a fish-friendly candidate to offer.

So what's new?

Grandpa, I don't know - Judy Nicastro may be a good choice. We need a candidate who supports strip clubs beer

Seriously, I agree with Aunty M, it would be wise to have this board get a real read on how the candidates support sportsfishermen. Might be time to get organized and write a series of questions that can be sent to the candidates under the auspices of this board to make some objective determination. Open question to Bob, Would you be willing to allow your board to send a questionaire to the candidates?
As much as Grandpa would like to paint me a Democrat, it's just not true. I tend to be left of center, but will vote based on the candidate, not the Party. However, I will probably never be a single issue voter. There is only one person that I know of that I agree with 98% of the time, and doggone it, I'm just not electable. wink

Nobody talks about it much, but that "other" board in Oregon was instrumental in keeping some hatcheries open. Whether you agree with hatcheries or not, isn't my point. They were effective, and we could be too.
Isn't it amazing what a motivated group of sports anglers can accomplish. We showed up IN FORCE in Salem and made a difference. No reason why it can't happen elsewhere.
We are also putting pressure on a certain state senator about river access also.

You know... I think this might be the first productive thing he's ever done!

To late for Boing I guess, but at least we may be able to save Microsoft.
