Anyone interested in getting together a bouy 10 trip in mid August? I have never fished and and would like to get down there with a few fof you guys who have.

I want to bring my boat down, if there is enough interest maybe we can all camp/fish out of the same place?

I was thinking about just a 1-2 night weekend thing. Anyone have a good recommendation on where we can camp/launch on the Washington side?

Can anyone else spare the vacation time? If so lets plan it and get down there.

what kind of boat & how big is it?

there's the KOA before you get into chinook but you'll have to reserve in advance but, there's another place between Ilwaco & Chinook, limited facilities though, you launch out of Chinook BUT, you need to be there before sun up or you will waits for hours on end, you can also launch out of Ilwaco or fort canby...

i know both the land & water in the bouy 10 areal & am a 1st class bait boy w/references...

I'm interested I'll get back to this a little later on.My sister and her boyfriend are going down at about the same time.Should be lots of fun and pretty good action.Although I like it down there a little later in the season.
Lets see how things develop, fish catching wise and go from there.

Chinook has the best launching facilities, and they really run the launch well, they have someone going door to door collecting your money and a couple more folks directing traffic. They even insist, if you can't back your boat up in a couple tries, that you either let them back their rig for you or go to the end of the line and try later laugh laugh cool Every campground, RV park, and motel down there pretty much fills up and reservations are required, I usually just camp in my rig in the parking lot for a fee. Let's go, I'll be in touch beer

Hey Spawnout, Good to hear from you.
My boat is dialed in now, seats replaced and just put a new electric Scotty on it today! Take a peek at the tides and shoot me an email with what weekend you think will be best, I am thinking the 23rd and 24th look good.
Chinook sounds good if you think thats the best spot. Never camped and fished in that area so I am going to go with all of your suggestions.

I fish out of a 16 foot welded Gregor. I already have my boat filled, if I didnt I would accept your offer Max.

anyone else interested?
