The 3' maximum leader length rule on the Fraser has been lifted. So, "flossing" for sockeye and springs is allowed, however the sockeye fishery is still closed(c &r only). This could be temporary, as the Fraser usually opens for sockeye around the 1st of August.

I'm heading up August 4-6 for sun, sockeye, springs, and suds. beer

what kind of reports do you want?
Skeena has been in good shape and decent for chinooks, Fraser has been in good shape and also decent for chinooks, saltwater out of vancouver has been decent for chinooks, pinks are starting to show up in good numbers, silvers at the mouth of the cap has been good. West coast of Van.isle has had decent fishing all year. The overall salmon return has been good almost coast wide with the exception that some runs are 4-8 days later than normal (summer sockeye for the fraser) There has been good size fish ( buddy of mine has a 71lber and 6 more over 50 in his boat this year) with the exception of the queen charlottes has smaller than normal fish early on.
