Has anyone ever fished around Ketron Island by Steilacoom? As the kings move south to the Nisqually I would think they would pass on both sides of the island. Any info? Thanks.

JNT,

Ketron is better known for its ability to pump out Blackmouth. I would recommend getting out in front of Chambers first for the Cookie Cutters and then down to the Green Can area. Should also be fish along the east side of Anderson right now. Oro Bay and around down through Lyle should have some large hogs in there right now

Thanks guys, I normally fish from bigger boats in the Tacoma area; but, I have a 12' alum with a 5 hp Honda I want to launch at Steilacoom and stay close. I will try the Chambers mouth first for sure. I was just wondering about the north end and inside of Ketron as it is so accessible. More tips are appreciated. By the way my Dad got a 15 (male) and a 25 hen outside of the mouth of Gig Harbor last night. hello
