Just a note to say my Father picked up a 15# king (mature) and a 25# hen (mature) just outside the mouth of Gig Harbor last night on herring and a fish flash on the DR ball at 90' of water. See... some people actually give positive reports on location and tackle. thumbs

One of the most over-looked spots in Area 11!
Great to hear some fish are being caught.

The skunk died tonight! My partner caught a 17.1lb hen around the Girl Scout Camp on Vashon at about six o'clock. All I can say is.... finally! Lime green hootchie and flasher 80' down in 120' of water. Beautiful fish.

There's a primitive ramp in the Harbor. I don't how how big of a boat you have, but a buddy of mine launches a 21'r there. I couldn't tell you if he has any tide restriction or not... Narrow's has a ramp and would be about a 15-minute run. However, I am not sure if the ramp is still going. Last I heard was the boat storage, elevators and ramp was closing. From what I have heard recently, someone bought the area out and is building condos (lovely). I dunno (???) Maybe PD is the only choice!

The majority of fish run fairly shallow (70-110') along the beach line there. The mouth of the harbor to Pt Richmond should be productive. Troll with the tide. You should be in business.
