Well, the opener wasn't exacty hot, fished the whole tide and only got 3 bites. However, I made them count, the two I landed were an 8 pound clipped silver and a 24 pound king eek Saw a number of silvers and small kings hooked right at the buoy early in the tide, which is where I hooked the silver and another one I lost, then I follwed the bait up the river and finally got the king at the church hole. And oh boy is there bait, so thick you can't see the bottom half the time. Going to be a great year beer

I can't wait!

I'm heading down in a week for a week. I finally got the boat running good (thanks to steelheaddude) and I'm looking forward to slaying some salmon.

So did you get 'em on the standard gear - cut plug on a fish flash and diver? Any advice for a first time B10'er?

You got the gear right, the green fishflash seems to work the best for me down there. Just fish the incomer, start right at B10 and troll into the tide, and work upstream with the rips as the tide comes in. I'll probably be down there next weekend, good luck beer
