Phew ... we made it through!

The crazy month of July is now behind us and Fishgal and I are breathing a sigh of relief and taking a couple of days off before we start in on a mellower August schedule.

King season ended July 31 and the last few days went out with a bang with some dandy fish. Ken Takemoto wrapped up a day of clam digging and king fishing with a jumbo Kasilof king on the 30th ...

We'll get some pix from the last day (my camera ate the files) with another nice fish for Tami who made one of her "long treks" from Homer to fish the finale.

Thanks to all those who joined us this king season ... for those looking towards next year, several groups are already finalizing next year's dates so you might start thinking about times for next season 'cuz they may all be gone a little earlier than normal!

We had Sign A Rama in Everett make them up for us when we had the rest of the lettering done for the boat.
