I fished Robinson and Redondo this weekend and didnt see a salmon caught. Fished the early morning tide changes. I did see Easy Limits saturday morning at Redondo and he said they did pick up one. There was tons of seaweed at Redondo and we had to clean the junk off our lines about every 5 to 10 minutes it really sucked.

I fished pt. Robinson Saturday morning and saw about 5 fish caught but none of those were on my line. The seaweed at Redondo was extremely bad that's why we left.

Yes, I took a wild guess but I think I got it right. Lots of people say hi to me out there.

Fished the Des Moines derby on Saturday. Buddy I fished with won the derby with a 24 pounder, $3000. We both limited. I took home a 10lb king and 4 pound Silver. Hooked and released quite a few pinks and silvers. Hot spot for the day was out at Beal. Will be out there again this week.

By chance do you know how many fish were checked in for the derby??

DB15, When they had all the fish laid down at the end of the day there were about 35 kings. Someone else may have an excact number. Plus there were Silvers also but did not get that count.

I fished Robinson last night along with about 26 other boats. The only thing I saw caught were a couple flounder by others and I caught one of the biggest dogfish I have ever caught.The doggie even took line twice.
